PROFILE ENHANCEMENT

A profile candidates own, and a growing community of validated talent

Beyond the evaluation, candidates can build out their own ProboTalent profile with social-proof content from peers, managers, and past colleagues. It gives candidates control over how they present themselves, and gives recruiters a richer view of who a candidate really is.

CANDIDATE-OWNED

Candidate-owned content that builds a network of professionals

Profile enhancement puts candidates in control of how they present themselves. Every time a recommendation, endorsement, or confirmation is made, it links real professionals to one another, turning each candidate into part of a growing community of validated talent. Whether someone is hired or not, their endorsements, recommendations, and confirmations help other candidates be discovered and help recruiters surface warm talent they would not have found otherwise.

Skill endorsements
Professional recommendations
Job confirmations

It is important to be clear about what profile enhancement is and what it is not. This is candidate-driven content, built and controlled by the candidate. It is completely separate from the IO-scored assessments, interviews, and reference checks that ProboTalent uses to evaluate a candidate for a specific job.

When ProboTalent evaluates a candidate for a role, every candidate applying for the same job receives the same Position Requirements, the same assessments, the same Culture Fit Survey, the same Reference Check structure, and the same interview questions, depending on how the job is configured. That structured, identical evaluation is the foundation of fair, defensible hiring, and it lives entirely apart from anything a candidate chooses to add to their profile.

Profile enhancement sits alongside that process, not inside it. It is the part of ProboTalent the candidate owns, where they can show who they are in their own words and through the voices of the people who have worked with them.

What candidates can add to their profile

Skill endorsements

Peers and colleagues endorse specific skills the candidate has demonstrated, building a credible, social picture of what the candidate is known for among the people who have worked with them.

Professional recommendations

Written recommendations from managers, mentors, peers, or others who have worked with the candidate, in their own words, surfacing context and qualities that scores alone do not capture.

Job confirmations

Confirmation of previous job history from people who were there, validating that the candidate held the roles they claim to have held and adding real-world weight to their experience.

Social media and professional links

Candidates add their own social media and professional networking links, including LinkedIn, a personal website, a portfolio, or any other channels they choose to share, all on terms they control.

Profile enhancement is deliberately kept separate from assessment reporting, and that separation matters. Candidate-driven profile enhancement is not an evaluation of the candidate for a specific job. It is candidate-owned content, endorsements, recommendations, and confirmations that candidates can choose to show on their profile.

Because it is self-curated, this content is never factored into assessment scores, and it is never used as a substitute for a Reference Check. A Reference Check is a structured, third-party validation that recruiters configure and control, collecting standardized feedback through a defined survey. A profile endorsement or recommendation is something the candidate gathers and displays. The two are different by design, and ProboTalent keeps them that way.

It also means the content travels with the person, not the application. Profile content lives with the candidate, not with any particular job. As candidates move through the wider ProboTalent community, their profile and the social proof on it stay with them, while every job-specific evaluation remains its own structured, scored, and defensible record.

The result is a hiring platform that respects candidates: a clear, transparent evaluation process on one side, and a profile they genuinely own and control on the other.
